Originally a group of friends from college who decided to share their love for music, Vine Street is an indie/ alt rock band from Guildford. After a couple of different ideas, the name Vine Street stuck. We’ve started writing some music and we hope to share it with the world very soon, but unfortunately it's a long process! Some of our influences and inspirations include: The Academic, Franz Ferdinand, Kings of Leon, Two Door Cinema Club and many more. However, we all have lots of different individual influences which helps give us a unique sound.

Luca

I've always been passionate about music since a very young age. My first memory was when I received my first drum kit at the age of 3. Since that day I've never looked back. My drumming influences are Chad Smith from RHCP, Rob Bourdon from Linkin Park , Ronnie Vannucci JR from The Killers and Will Champion from Coldplay. This also gives me a variety of styles and genres which feeds into my drumming.

Alex

I've been playing guitar since I was very little and have made lots of embarrasing covers on YouTube since then. I've always loved playing loads of different genres and that's reflected in my playing. My biggest influences when writing are probably The Academic and Two Door Cinema. Right now my influences for playing guitar in general include artists from Tim Henson from Polyphia to Eddie Van Halen. I often get called the Dad of the group as I like to organise everything and have some awful Dad jokes up my sleeve.

Gracie

When I think back to how I first started in music, I must’ve been around four when I started screaming pop songs down a hair brush. 13 years later, I fear not much has changed as I am still that energetic and passionate towards music and singing. My biggest music influences are probably The academic, the wombats and two door cinema club. However, when it comes to specifically vocal influence, I’d say Amy Winehouse and Florence and the machine have had the largest impact on my personal style.

Jack

I am the other guitarist, I picked guitar as I needed something to compensate for my lack of personality. In terms of influences, Joe Newman and Frank zappa have inspired my sound the most. I enjoy both rhythm and lead playing and try to blend the two. Performing live is something I used to dread but now I am most happy when standing on stage.
